Tahanan ni Maria
A home for the aged located in Cavite, Philippines that provides a home for seniors abandoned by their families and found living on the streets. This is a 50-bed facility that houses and feeds the elderly who are very poor and unable to care for themselves.
Tahanan ni Maria receives funds from non-profit organizations to run their facility. They take in seniors living on their own, without family or any means of support, some suffering from dementia. The home has nursing students who care for the residents and receive school nursing credits in return. Tahanan ni Maria is Tagalog for "Mary's House."
