| We would also like to acknowledge all the individual donors who have helped with our mission. We thank each and every one of you for your involvement. | Donor Highlight: One of our most passionate donors is a Fourth Grade student at Sandpiper Elementary School in Redwood Shores. Last year, when this 10-year-old child learned from her older sister about the plight of the poor in the Philippines, she was determined to do something. With her mother's help, she organized a fundraiser with her entire Girl Scout troop. The girls collected used clothing, shoes, food and school supplies from family and friends. They collected these items for the poor families living in squatter villages in Paranaque, Metro Manila. Bundles of Joy packed and shipped 2 large boxes weighing a total of approximately 200 lbs. These items were distributed to the needy families by the Family Life Ministry team at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in Manila. Thank you, Girl Scouts! |
